Psalm 107:1-9
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD say this- those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Natalie Stanfield

Natalie Stanfield I have been in radio since 1984. During that time, I’ve experienced every aspect of the business from on-air to behind the scenes. Originally I intended to be an attorney, but the radio bug bit and I’ve never been the same.

Though my experience was in secular media, I had no way of knowing at the time that my Father was using that time to prepare me for the use He had planned all along. In 1998 I had a “crisis of belief’ that led to my beginning to use the talents God had given me for His purposes. I began to volunteer at a local Christian station in Paducah, Kentucky. Eventually being hired full-time to head up the morning show there, where I served for five years as morning host and production director.

A series of events that God put in motion placed me and three of my sons in Tupelo Mississippi at the network home of American Family Radio in November of 2003. I am humbled and honored to be allowed to use the gifts He has given for His purposes. God has blessed us exceedingly, abundantly, beyond all we could hope or imagine. Albert Einstein once said “There are two ways to live your life. One is though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

I pray you find joy in your journey, and a reason to celebrate in thanks for everything God is doing or has done in your life this day.
